Penelope Sideboard
The Penelope Sideboard builds a black walnut case on minimalist black legs, then lets French Mappa burl and black resin take over the fronts - the one place on the piece where pattern and tone are allowed to shift from unit to unit. Every burl face is laid out by hand so the grain and figure read as balanced rather than random, which means no two Penelopes ever look quite the same. Adjustable interior shelves keep the storage flexible, while the clean case and legs let it move easily between a dining room, living room, entry, or bedroom. Available in three sizes, it reads as functional storage with a genuinely one-of-a-kind face.
